i am now the proud owner of two tickets to ani's nyc show. so ariel...we must plan...this weekend...when i have five minutes to breath.
:). the summer will come. i know it will. but this gorgeous weather is making me want it now.

ani is playing in nyc on july 13th. i am going to preorder tickets (yay for being on the mailing list). so if you want to come along tell me. i dont want to go alone. ariel...do you know when you would be planning on coming to nyc?...at the very least i will get 2 tickets...but yes. preordering starts tomorrow.

i have taken 4 showers since 10pm. it is now 1:47am.
this means i have a paper due at 11am.
i feel like i am back in highschool.

i also slept through my alarm...and 90% of my poetry class this morning.

but i probably have an interview next week in nyc for an internship with the manager of a broadway theater. needless to say i am very excited. Thank you to my cousin who i have never met (but will meet this weekend) who runs a theater company in nyc. it would be phone stuff etc but working in a professional company and meeting people in that area in nyc...very good. plus i might be able to get free tickets!

so this semester i am in three shows here at smith college. yes i am excited beyond belief.

I am in two one acts which are going up may 5th, 6th (and either the 4th or the 7th...dont know)
the dark lady in the dark lady of the sonnets (who is playing shakespeare's mistress/muse? moi. :)
hamlet in 18 washington south (college girl nicknamed hamlet. heh not the hamlet)

and then i am in the commencment show Family Album which is going up may 18th, 19th and 20th.

thank god. it will have been almost exactly a year since my last show...but i think i may be making up for that year with three at once. :).

now i just have to do all that other work. sigh. (anyone else having the urge to jump on a bus to nyc and never come back? humm...not me...no never...)

i leave for the airport in 8 mins. i will arrive in the land of no snow at 5:15pm. tonight is family night as adam is going down to santa cruz tomorrow. but call me and talk to me and see me. i am excited. :)

i put my cosmo on the ground in the tv room when i was sitting there...and my dog lucy comes over and starts lapping away...we had champaigne and she came over to me lapped up a bit...now she is asleep on the couch...apparently she just got up to move and kinda fell over. my mom is laughing...and it is adorable. this dog is loopy when she is sober...oh 2006 this is going to be fun.

i walk into a store...and sitting there, nicely on a shelf...is a brittish elle magazine. i dont care that those sent to the us dont have free scarves and bags...because it is british elle magazine. the magazine i spent 3 quid on every month...i spent 54 dollars last year on this one magazine...17 quid i could have spent...ok on 9 sandwiches from the petrol station...mmmm....chicken ticka baguettes...but anyway. i dont care that elle is even more expencive here...10 dollars...i can deal...dont tell me i cant afford it...darn it. I open the magazine...and there are all those shoes...300 quid heels...a pair of boots that cost 600 quid. and now i feel better...kinda. i spent only 10 dollars to lust after shoes i really really really (continue the really's a few hundred more times) cant afford. and read about the woman who runs jimmy choo.....and see pictures of the piles of shoes...sigh.

what was the meaning of this post you may ask. i dont know...but i want those damn shoes. sigh.

oh and the best thing ever. my neighbor caredwen started a facebook community for people who have been in my bed. heh. really it is not dirty...it is just so comfy. heh. it makes me endlessly giggle. yeah it is called "it's just so comfy". check it out and giggle with me.

almost done with my Celtic Worlds paper on the Tain. a little over 1 page left of the first paper i have written in a year and a half. i did the thing where i have a topic i really like and could write 10 pages with the ideas i have...but it is a little 5 page paper...which is good cuz i dont want to be up later. well i guess some things never change no matter how long it has been. :)

my new puppy will be arriving at my house in 30 mins. yay. pretty pretty zena.
